Where Pets Belong

Your pets are part of the community here at The Triton. We welcome cats and dogs, with up to two pets per residence. Our scenic waterfront setting and unique building amenities make every day feel more seamless and enjoyable for you and your four-legged friends.

On-site pet spa

Daily clean-ups are easier thanks to The Triton’s pet salon with a grooming bath station—handy after a lagoon-side walk or a romp at the dog park.

Landscaped outdoor areas & courtyards

Step outside and you’ll find landscaped courtyards and walking paths woven throughout the apartment community. Shaded seating areas and open lawns create everyday opportunities to stretch your legs and enjoy the fresh air. Built into the rhythm of life here at The Triton, these integrated spaces provide an indoor-outdoor connection for you and your pets.

Part of a larger, planned neighborhood

The Triton is at the heart of Foster City’s Pilgrim-Triton Master Plan, a thoughtfully designed neighborhood that brings housing, retail, and public gathering areas together. In addition to private courtyards at The Tritond, you’re also connected to a larger network of green space and community plazas right outside your door.

Why Foster City is great for pets

Beyond the building, Foster City is made for everyday walks—breezy waterfront paths, pocket parks, and a dedicated dog park system with defined rules and off-leash hours at designated locations. The city also highlights the Levee Pedway (Bay Trail segment) as a prime route for leashed pets.

If you need off-leash time beyond the dog park, several local parks offer early-morning off-leash hours. From 5:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. daily—and until 9:00 a.m. on Sundays—dogs may roam off leash in designated areas at Boothbay, Catamaran, Edgewater, Farragut, and Sea Cloud Parks (though never on synthetic turf).

Nearby local dog parks and green spaces for pets include:

  • Foster City Dog Park (Edgewater Bark Park) — Fenced with separate large- and small-dog areas, synthetic turf, and off-leash access. Visit at: 1001 Bounty Dr, Foster City, CA 94404
  • Leo J. Ryan Memorial Park— Waterfront lawns, boardwalks, and stunning lagoon views. Located just steps from The Triton. Visit at: 650 Shell Blvd, Foster City, CA 94404
  • San Francisco Bay Trail / Levee Pedway — A wide, scenic route that loops around Foster City. Leashed pets are welcome, making it ideal for long walks or runs.

  • Boothbay Park — A neighborhood favorite with open lawns, shaded paths, and pet-friendly space for everyday walks. Visit at: Boothbay Ave, Foster City, CA 94404
